CIP Materials Explanation

1. Explanation of project’s official goals [translated from Turkish] to be given to officials if need be. Official letter to institution  and sign-up form
2. which should be signed by the responsible person in the institution. Make 3 copies. One should be kept by student leader, one by advisor, and one should be given to the CIP committee. Student contract and parental permission(2 parts) must be signed by the parent. This is VERY IMPORTANT! 
3. Journal prompts in English and Turkısh. [Advisor decides which language you will use]. You can paste these in the front page of your journal if you keep a paper journal. Whether you keep a paper journal or not, you can use these questions as guides. Everyone should write their expectations before they begin. Record Keeping sheets.
4.  This is to keep track of your hours. Each time you go to your site, either your advisor or the person responsible there will sign it. EACH STUDENT is responsible for keeping his/her own sheet, NOT the advisor!. If student loses this sheet, s/he must start over. [Therefore, it is recommended that the student should make photocopies from time to time]
5. Parent Permission Forms: These are forms to make sure your parents know where you are. They should be handed into the CIP committee {i.e.Güler Karabatur and Jennifer Sertel.}If you are going to the same place at the same time every week, use Form A. If you are going to a project outside Istanbul use:  Form B, CIP long outside Istanbul trips parent information / permission form.
6. Final Essay Format- This will help you write your critical self evalutaion and relection of your entire CIP experience. You need to use this format.

7. Form for CIP website/ brochure/digital record- Important because it will be a record of your project. Must be filled out by May 25.
