RC 2009 – University Acceptance Update
Once again, the attendance ratio of Turkish Universities vs those abroad for this year’s graduating class is around 70% to 30%. To see detailed information on the acceptances and OSS results, please check the charts below. These results reflect only which schools the graduates got in, final results according to their choices will follow.
Class of RC 09, or “The Ultimate Crowd” as they call themselves have been placed in Turkish Universities of their choice after the OSS exam results were announced. Of the 184 members of this class who took the OSS, 94 have been placed in state universities and 90 preferred private foundation colleges. A striking number of students entered Bosphorus University (39), Koç University (37), and Sabancı University (29). 90% of these graduates were placed in their first five choices. Med schools continue to lead the choices as in the last few years.

Foreign University Acceptance Results for RC’09:
Out of the 97 RC Seniors who applied to go abroad for higher education, 92 received one or more acceptances. Out of this number, 76 made a decision to attend US, Canadian or UK universities and have started their freshman year. 25 of these students were awarded financial aid from the colleges they were accepted by. Of this group, 14 students were on scholarship while at Robert College.
