Three RC students have won the top three awards at the 19th National Science Olympiad for Computer Science. After competing for 10 hours Mehmet Fatih Çamlı (L12) won a gold medal, Kaan Bulut Tekelioğlu (L12) a silver medal and Abdullah Hanefi Önaldı (L12) a bronze medal. The event, which took place in Ankara at the beginning of December, is the most prestigious science competition amongst high school students in Turkey. The students were trained by Barış Kaya (RC 11), winner of the 23rd International Olympiad in Informatics which took place in Thailand in June 2011.
